Our Story & Philosophy
PLA Languages (formerly known as Palmaleman) was founded on the belief that language learning should be practical, professional, and deeply rooted in real-world application. Based in Málaga and Palma de Mallorca, and serving students worldwide online, we specialize in high-quality German, English, and Spanish instruction.
We don’t just teach grammar; we build confidence. Our methodology is designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and the actual use of a language in professional and personal life.
Meet Our Founder
Georg Krause
Founder & Academic Director
Born and raised in Innsbruck, Austria, Georg Krause has dedicated over a decade to teaching German as a foreign language. His journey has taken him across Europe, including roles at the Goethe-Zentrum in Genoa and Komalingua in Italy, before establishing his school in Spain.
A Foundation of Academic & Business Expertise
- Higher Education: Degrees in Political Science and Italian Philology from the University of Innsbruck, with additional studies at the University of Lyon.
- Goethe-Institut Certified: Specialist training in methodology and didactics for German as a foreign language.
- Business Expertise: Holder of the EBCL (European Business Competence Licence), ensuring a deep understanding of economic contexts for professional language training.
- Cultural Insight: Certified Tour Guide in five languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian, and French).
